About The Position

Growing Kids Learning Center in Plymouth is seeking a Full-time Cook to join their passionate team. They have been family-owned since 1995, proudly serving Northern Indiana children from 6 weeks to elementary age. Their mission is to Protect, Educate, Inspire. This role is ideal for someone who loves hands-on learning, building relationships, and helping kids grow. The company supports professional growth, including assistance in earning ServSafe certification, within a family-like, supportive environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Team-focused, proactive attitude
• Must pass background check, drug screen, TB test, and physical
• Able to lift 25lbs and stand for long periods

Nice To Haves

• 1+ year of facility-based experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Place weekly food orders
• Keep a safe, clean, and organized kitchen
• Support children’s growth and milestones with nutritious meals
• Communicate with parents, families, and staff about food substitutions
• Work as part of a collaborative team
