About The Position

As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes according to established recipes, and ensuring that all food is handled and stored properly to maintain freshness and hygiene. This position requires close collaboration with the Center Director to maintain efficient kitchen operations and timely meal service.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food preparation
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow recipes and safety instructions in English.
  • Manual dexterity and physical stamina to stand for long periods and handle kitchen tools safely.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English with center staff and management.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working independently
  • Familiarity with dietary requirements.
  • Ability to assist in inventory control and kitchen supply management.
  • Experience in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
  • Time management skills

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook food items according to quality standards.
