About The Position
CountryHouse Elkhorn, an Agemark Senior Living community, is seeking a Cook to prepare fresh, delicious meals in a welcoming kitchen where your work truly makes a difference. Every meal is an opportunity to bring comfort, spark conversation, and create moments residents look forward to. As a Cook, you'll prepare fresh, nutritious, and flavorful meals according to recipes and dietary guidelines, ensuring meals are served safely, accurately, and on time. You will also maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen, assist with food preparation, inventory, and kitchen organization, and support special events, celebrations, and themed dining experiences. This role offers a flexible schedule with no late-night shifts and opportunities for career growth within Agemark.
Requirements
- At least one year of cooking or culinary experience
- A positive attitude and passion for preparing great food
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Commitment to food safety, cleanliness, and exceptional service
