About The Position
The Cook performs daily work routines and assignments as delegated. The role prepares and cooks food for hospital patients, staff, visitors, and other functions while maintaining high standards of food quality and sanitation.
Requirements
- Basic reading and writing skills and ability to do simple math.
- Ability to follow directions and work as a team player.
- Ability to move quickly and stand for long periods of time.
- Organized and flexible to change.
- Self-motivated.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of institutional food service experience.
- ServSafe certification.
