About The Position
Vivera Senior Living of Columbus is seeking a Full-Time Cook for their Columbus, IN 47201 location. This position is responsible for preparing a diverse menu that accommodates various dietary preferences and restrictions, while ensuring high-quality dietary services and compliance with safety and sanitation protocols. The Cook will also maintain food service areas, engage with residents compassionately, and participate in continuous learning opportunities.
Requirements
- Must hold current ServSafe Manager certification
- High School graduate or GED equivalent required
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
Responsibilities
- Prepares a diverse menu that incorporates a variety of dietary preferences and accommodates for various restrictions
- Demonstrates dedication to high-quality dietary services while ensuring compliance to safety and sanitation protocols
- Maintains food service areas including the kitchen and dining areas
- Engages with residents in a compassionate and impactful manner, cultivating a warm and supportive environment where the values of love, compassion, and dignity are reflected in every interaction
- Participates in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
