About The Position

The Cook is a collaborative member of the Nutrition Services team that follows department recipes and production standards to provide high quality and healthy food in compliance with all food safety regulations for hospital patients, staff, families, and visitors at MultiCare facilities.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Current Washington State Food Handler’s Card required
  • Serve-Safe certification preferred
  • Minimum two (2) years cooking experience in casual to fine dining, hotels or healthcare line cook

Responsibilities

  • Provide restaurant-style dining while supporting our commitment to using whole, fresh, local, and sustainable products wherever economically possible
  • Order supplies, prepare food items, ensure proper food safety and sanitation standards are met, and maintain cooler and freeze stocks
  • Utilize your strong culinary background in our fast-paced, team-oriented, high volume, and customer service focused environment
  • Apply your enthusiastic, food-centric attitude and will possess the ability to collaborate to provide a quality product and exceptional experience for our customers
