We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Cook or similar culinary role in a full-service restaurant
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Food safety certification or willingness to obtain one
Daytime, weekend and occasional evening availability for events

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and quality standards
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet timing standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations at all times
Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation
Monitor food quality and presentation before serving

Up to 48 hours of paid leave per year, for the use of a variety of health and safety needs. Team members earn 1 hour of leave for every 30 hours worked. Leave is paid at the same pay rate as time worked.
