About The Position

Join Arbor Day Farm as a Cook and help create meaningful guest experiences while advancing the Foundation’s mission. Arbor Day Farm, Lied Lodge, and Tree Adventure are part of the Arbor Day Foundation, one of the world’s largest conservation organizations. We welcome guests to experience conservation firsthand. This role is a full-time position located on the Arbor Day Farm Campus in Nebraska City, Nebraska. The work environment is guest-centered and hospitality-driven, requiring flexibility to support various events. The Arbor Day Foundation is committed to servant leadership, open communication, and growing talent from within.

Requirements

• Passion for hospitality, service, and the Foundation’s mission.
• A love for food and cooking.
• At least 1 year of line cook experience.
• At least 17 years old.
• A creative and learning driven mindset.
• Team-first mindset.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to high standards.

Responsibilities

• Cook menu items and sauté special items.
• Cook foods made to order in an efficient manner.
• Keep a clean and tidy working space.
• Gain experience from an upscale restaurant.
• Receive training opportunities to advance throughout the kitchen.
• Work as a team.
• Contribute to a fun work environment with teamwork at the forefront to ensure a positive experience for guests.
