About The Position
Calyx Living is actively seeking an energetic Cook for our assisted living community! We are located in beautiful Fuquay-Varina, one of the fastest growing towns in North Carolina, and minutes from its two vibrant and historic downtown districts! Calyx is looking to hire a Cook who is enthusiastic about working with a small crew in our kitchen, impacting the lives of seniors by preparing and presenting food. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter with past experience cooking and preparing meals in a senior living setting.
Requirements
- Cooking experience a must
- Must be able to follow recipes and plate food in an attractive manner
- Must be able to understand and comply with state regulations established for food service
- Must be quick and efficient during peak meal service times
