About The Position

This position is responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving nutritional meals and snacks, cleaning kitchen facilities, equipment, and appliances, and keeping the kitchen and dining area in a neat and orderly manner.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years’ experience cooking food for large groups.
• Some experience coordinating the work of other kitchen staff.
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Food Manager Certification or have within 30 days of hiring.
• Valid State driver’s license (optional).

Responsibilities

• Prepares, cooks, and serves nutritional meals and snacks.
• Cleans kitchen facilities, equipment, and appliances.
• Keeps kitchen and dining area in neat and orderly manner.
• Cleans kitchen equipment, utensils and keeps supplies in orderly manner.
• Ensures proper amounts of food is prepared in a timely manner.
• Serves food and beverages in a presentable manner.
