About The Position
AtWork Personnel is seeking an experienced Cook for a full-time opportunity in Plano, TX. If you have previous cooking experience and enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen, we want to hear from you!
Requirements
- Previous cooking experience is required.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a restaurant, healthcare, senior living, school cafeteria, or commercial kitchen is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and production schedules.
- Prep ingredients by chopping, slicing, measuring, and portioning.
- Ensure meals are prepared and served on time.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines.
- Monitor food quality and maintain proper food temperatures.
- Assist with stocking inventory and receiving deliveries.
- Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and food preparation areas.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to provide quality meal service.
