About The Position

This role involves preparing foods according to established recipes and quality standards, managing kitchen equipment and food based on forecasted needs, and maintaining knowledge of menu options, preparation methods, and ingredients. The position also requires inventory management, assisting with ordering and receiving, and upholding safety policies. Additionally, the cook will help maintain departmental cleanliness, support team members, and perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares foods according to specifications and quality standards established in recipes and procedures
  • Prepares equipment and food based on forecasted needs and events
  • Maintains working knowledge of all kitchen machinery operations
  • Maintains updated knowledge related to current menu options, preparation methods and techniques, and ingredients
  • Maintains appropriate inventory controls and dates all incoming products
  • Assists in ordering, receiving, and storing of all food and beverage related products
  • Assists in monitoring and upholding policies and procedures for safety of guests and team members
  • Assists in maintaining cleanliness throughout the department
  • Assists team members and other departments as needed to contribute to operational efficiency
  • Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership
