This position involves preparing, assembling, baking, cooking, seasoning, and portioning food for patients/residents, staff, and visitors of the designated facility, adhering to menu and dietary requirements. The role requires maintaining high standards of food quality, sanitation, and proper storage of food and equipment. The Cook will prepare and provide the highest quality and safest food possible, working collaboratively with internal customers in a dynamic culinary environment. Adherence to standardized recipes and HACCP guidelines is essential, along with documentation of food safety procedures. The position requires operating various kitchen equipment and understanding basic math for measurements and recipe comprehension. Physical requirements include standing and walking for the majority of the day.
