About The Position

At CentraCare, you'll still get to do what you love—cook delicious meals, work with a great team, and stay busy in the kitchen—but you'll also have the opportunity to make a real difference for patients, families, visitors, and healthcare workers every day. We're looking for experienced cooks who take pride in their craft and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where quality, teamwork, and service matter. This position is for a Full-Time Cook, various (Swing Shift) hours and every 3rd weekend. Schedule Full-time | 72 hours per two weeks. 9:30 am to 6 pm and 11 am to 7:30 pm shifts (you will be scheduled both).
Requirements
- At least three years of cooking experience in a restaurant, hospital, care center, catering operation, or similar setting
- Strong work history as a line cook
- Enjoys working as part of a team
- Takes pride in serving high-quality food
- Strong attention to food safety and sanitation
- Positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed
Responsibilities
- Preparing fresh meals for patients, visitors, employees, and special events
- Following recipes while adding attention to detail and culinary expertise
- Helping create a positive dining experience across the hospital
- Maintaining food quality, safety, and sanitation standards
- Working alongside a supportive team that knows how to get the job done
