BEAT THE BOMBWashington, DC

About The Position

BEAT THE BOMB is the next generation of immersive group entertainment, where customers step into real-life video games. They use an innovative digital, interactive game system to reimagine the intersection of technology and human social connection. Their classic Mission experience involves teams in hazmat suits going through interactive game rooms, including a laser maze, before facing the World's Largest Paint, Slime, and Foam Bomb. The company opened its original Brooklyn location in 2018 and now has locations in Atlanta, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Charlotte, Houston, and Denver, having hosted over 500,000 players. They offer special event services like STEM Camps, Kid and Adult Birthday parties, Corporate Tournaments, and Bachelorette parties, and also have a virtual team building platform. The #1 goal is to ensure every player has a BLAST! The DC location, opened in February 2023 in Ivy City, is over 10,000 square feet and offers classic Mission experiences, 7 immersive arcade lounges, street food, a full bar, a beer garden, and private event spaces. It has received over 5,000 5-star reviews and welcomed nearly 50,000 customers in less than 6 months. A Cook will contribute to this one-of-a-kind experience for both customers and team members through food service, executing recipes and following food safety guidelines. While primarily kitchen-focused, understanding all elements of Beat The Bomb's operation is important.
