About The Position
The Cook position is an integral component of PATH Interim Housing, The Cook helps create a welcoming, homelike environment and nutritious meals for our guests. They work alongside a team of kitchen and case management staff to ensure that all PATH Interim Housing guests receive three meals each day and snacks/refreshments throughout the day as needed. Position Responsibilities include: Provide all guests with a home-like environment for the duration of their stay in PATH Interim Housing. Promote and follow interim housing established values, guidelines, and rules. Assist all volunteers by providing all necessary supports to ensure that they have a valuable experience.
Requirements

- Current Food Handling Certificate or ability to obtain Food Handling Certificate.
- All levels of education and experience are welcome.
- Have employment eligibility verification
- Have or be able and willing to obtain CPR/First Aid training
- Successfully complete the following as a condition of hire: Tuberculosis Test, Background Screening, Drug Test
- Have reliable transportation
- A valid driver’s license
- Proof of insurance and ownership for personal vehicles used during work duties
- The ability to qualify for PATH's insurance coverage
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year of experience in a paid culinary setting
