About The Position

The Cook prepares meals and nourishments using standardized recipes for regular and therapeutic diets, with attention to appearance. The role follows regulations and company policies concerning diets, food preparation standards, and infection control. The Cook provides oversight to the dietary aide during the shift and receives and inspects food deliveries for accuracy and quality. Requirements

• Previous experience in Food Service.
• Basic cooking skills and the ability to follow a recipe.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety, preparation, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to deliver great customer service.
• Ability to work with a dedicated team and help direct others.
• Neat appearance and professional behavior.
• Successfully complete the pre-employment process and screening.
• Pass a physical examination given on behalf of gainful employment within the facility.
• Satisfactorily complete required orientation and training.
• Ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions.
