About The Position
Stonington Institute, a division of Universal Health Services (UHS), is seeking a full-time Cook in Groton, CT. This role is responsible for safe and sanitary food preparation for patients and staff. The ideal candidate will have a pleasant, professional demeanor and work collaboratively with colleagues and the Supervisor to ensure smooth dietary operations. This position is 32 hours per week.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Knowledge of kitchen work
- Ability to interact with staff, patients, and co-workers in a positive manner
- Knowledge of safety & sanitary regulations, or ability to learn them
Nice To Haves
- Education in food services
- Some cooking experience
