Avista Senior Living is expanding throughout Washington and is currently looking for a cook to join our team at our community in Spokane, WA. WE ARE LOOKING TO FILL PART TIME SHIFTS, WAGE IS $20-22 an hour DOE.
Requirements
- Prior Cook experience is highly preferred
- Senior living experience preferred
- Strong Communication
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of basic culinary service management
Nice To Haves
- Quality minded professional with previous healthcare or senior living experience
Responsibilities
- Knowledge of scratch cooking a definite plus as we look to elevate the expectations of food service
- Compassion for elderly and a desire to improve their quality of life is the focus of this food service operation
- The ability to lead others in appositive way
- An eye for detail
