Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of culinary experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen
  • Valid food handler certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to follow recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards
  • Attention to detail, cleanliness, and food safety
  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand/walk for the entire shift
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Prep ingredients: portion, chop, and store fresh fruits, vegetables, and basic items
  • Cook and plate menu items (e.g., breakfast, soups, salads) according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely, including ovens, stoves, grills, and microwaves
  • Ensure food is cooked at proper temperatures and served in correct portions
  • Clean and sanitize your station, tools, and equipment throughout your shift
  • Keep your station stocked, organized, and assist line cooks or other team members as needed
