About The Position

This is a temporary position for a Cook Trainee in commercial cooking. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and knowledge of measurements, with training provided. Responsibilities include cooking sauces in large commercial kettles according to batch requirements, ensuring all bags are properly labeled with defined ingredients for the product to be cooked, and using electric or manual pallet jacks to move ingredient packages weighing between 10lb - 30lbs.

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Knowledge of measurements is required.
  • Will train on cooking processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with forklift is a plus.
  • Culinary training/experience and or sous chefs are ideal candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Cook sauces in large commercial kettles following the batch requirements.
  • Ensures all bags are properly labeled with defied ingredients for product to be cooked.
  • Use electric or manual pallet jacks to move 50lb bags and ingredient packages (weight between 10lb - 30lbs).
