About The Position

Prepare and cook all items according to company standards for recipes and procedures, including the seasoning, finish and garnishment of all food items and entrees. Adheres to time and sequence of cooking operations to meet service standards/hours. Performs all basic cooking operations including deep frying, boiling, steaming, sautéing, basic oven work and production/prep work. Work assigned station in the kitchen, with responsibility for the cleanliness and sanitation of assigned work area. Cross train in other areas of the kitchen as needed. Properly use and store food items and kitchen supplies. Complete prep work for the next shift. Transport food and supplies to workstations as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cooler and dry storage areas. May perform and other duties assigned by management. Assist in creating sauces, dressings, and other base components for signature dishes. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked prep station to support seamless service. Support line cooks during peak service by replenishing ingredients and assisting with plating. Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to anticipate needs and avoid delays.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Proficient in English verbal and written
  • Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Three to six months of related experience and/ or training in a similar food outlet, hotel or casino atmosphere
  • Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively
  • Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period
