About The Position

The Cook Line Specialty position involves receiving and preparing food orders for a specific type of cuisine, as assigned to the restaurant, following memorized standard recipes. The role requires coordinating orders for pick-up and maintaining the cleanliness of the workstation and storage areas at all times. Responsibilities also include controlling waste through proper rotation, storage, and quantity control, as well as maintaining inventory and ordering stock to meet pars. The individual must consistently apply established safety and sanitation procedures.

Requirements

  • Must have 5 years of experience as a cook
  • Must speak Cantonese
  • Must be able to stand and/or walk for duration of shift
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 75 pounds
  • Other physical requirements of the position include but are not necessarily limited to reaching, grasping, bending, kneeling, and twisting at the waist
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications
