About The Position

This position is responsible for adhering to all recipes accurately, including dressings, appetizers, soups, salads, desserts, and other food items. The Cook IV must maintain 100% quality food production at all times and meet the timing requirements for food items as directed by supervisors. Effective communication with supervisors and co-workers is essential, as is maintaining, organizing, and rotating inventory. The role also requires maintaining a clean and safe working area, including refrigeration, and adhering to all safety and sanitation regulations. A positive attitude is expected.

Requirements

  • Ability to acquire knowledge in basic cooking techniques.
  • Basic understanding of sanitation and safety knowledge.
  • Basic knife handling skills.
  • Clean and organized work habits.
  • Ability to produce quality on a consistent basis.
  • 1 year of previous kitchen experience required.
  • ServSafe/ or San Diego Food Handlers Card
