About The Position

Country Gardens, a state licensed assisted living facility, is seeking a casual as needed Cook.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar setting
• Knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety guidelines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including entrees, sides, and desserts
• Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest quality standards
• Follow recipes and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and accuracy
• Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service
