About The Position

Located in the heart of Downtown San Diego, Hotel Republic is looking for our next great team members to join us on our Culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing food items in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment in a high volume, fast paced restaurant and banquets environment.

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in a culinary position.
  • Ability to obtain a food handlers certification.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Team player.
  • Takes pride in providing guests with exceptional quality items to ensure satisfaction.
  • Keen eye for detail.
  • High quality standards in work.
  • Willingness to work a variety of different shifts, including days, evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a hotel.
  • Experience in banquets.
