About The Position

CooperRiis's kitchen offers our team members a creative environment for our meal preparation using fresh, local, and organic wholes and also promotes a supportive team environment. We offer set shifts so our staff know their hours are guaranteed each week and they can count on a consistent start and end of all of their shifts. Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Culinary Arts and/or 2-5 years of experience
  • Thorough knowledge of whole food cuisine
  • Ability to work as a team and communicate effectively both orally and in writing

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with adults coping with mental health challenges is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Timely preparation and service of scheduled meals and snacks
  • Creativity of meal preparation and planning using fresh, local, and organic whole foods
  • Maintains cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment
  • Follows all applicable health code regulations
  • Ability to accommodate specific dietary needs
  • Assists in the dish room as needed
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager
