About The Position

Baptist Medical Center is seeking a Cook I for its Dietary Department at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This is a full-time position requiring flexibility in shift times and days, including weekends. The successful candidate will possess prior kitchen experience, proficiency in various cooking techniques and production methods, and competence with Microsoft applications, particularly Excel.

Requirements

1-2 Years - Microsoft Excel Experience - Required
High School Diploma - Required

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in multiple areas within the kitchen.
Proficiency in a variety of cooking techniques and production methods.

Responsibilities

Measuring, mixing, portioning, and cooking according to provided recipes and production charts for patients.
Performing clean, safe, and sanitary work in accordance with department policies.
Filling out all logs, production charts, cleaning schedules, etc., assigned by management in accordance with department policies and procedures.
Working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to pivot quickly to perform other duties as assigned.
Excel Data Management to track and maintain inventory management.
