Requirements

5 -7 years cooking experience in upscale, high-volume hotel or freestanding restaurant
Thorough knowledge and understanding of Food Service Sanitation Standards
Strong organizational skills
Excellent guest service skills
Ability to regularly push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to communicate effectively in English with team members, leaders and guests
Ability to work a flexible schedule, nights, weekends and holidays as required

Nice To Haves

Culinary degree or equivalent formal training

Responsibilities

Maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of Food Service Sanitation Standards
Stand, stoop, bend; lift and carry up to 35 pounds
Follow standardized recipes in the preparation and cooking of menu items
Use knives, slicers, mixers, choppers, grinders and all other equipment in a safe manner according to the manufactures recommendations
Act as lead in the kitchen in the absence of Kitchen Supervisor
Other duties as assigned
