Requirements

  • Culinary experience required
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of Food Service Sanitation Standards required
  • Strong organizational skills required
  • Excellent Guest Service skills required
  • Ability to stand, stoop, bend and lift items weighting up to 50 pounds repetitively required
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English with team members, leaders and guests required
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, nights, weekends and holidays as required

Nice To Haves

  • 3 - 5 years cooking experience in upscale, high-volume hotel or freestanding restaurant preferred

Responsibilities

  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of Food Service Sanitation Standards
  • Ability to stand, stoop, bend; lift and carry up to 35 pounds
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of standard kitchen equipment and its use, such as fryer, grill, sauté and broiler
  • Follows standardized recipes in the preparation and cooking of menu items
  • Uses knives, slicers, mixers, choppers, grinders and all other equipment in a safe manner according to the manufacture's recommendations
  • Other duties as assigned
