This program provides Marriott associates with access to self-paced online lessons for immediate application to their jobs. The role involves preparing special meals, regulating cooking equipment, thawing food, ensuring proper portioning and garnish, maintaining food logs, monitoring food quality and quantity, communicating needs during busy periods, informing the Chef of excess food, and communicating menu specials and out-of-stock items to service staff. The position also requires assisting management in various HR functions, adhering to company policies, reporting maintenance needs, ensuring a clean and professional appearance, maintaining confidentiality, protecting company assets, anticipating guest needs, communicating professionally, developing positive working relationships, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. Physical requirements include standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, and moving objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
