About The Position

Conrad Orlando is seeking a Cook I for the Ceiba restaurant. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, managing guest orders, executing complex recipes, inspecting plates, maintaining a clean workspace, managing product and operational needs, and complying with regulatory standards. The position is part of a luxury resort located on the Evermore Orlando Resort property, bordering Walt Disney World, featuring extensive amenities including multiple food and beverage outlets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to designated recipes and quality standards
• Manage guest orders efficiently while ensuring a positive dining experience
• Maintain a strong knowledge of menu offerings, handle complex recipes, and oversee stations, execution, quality control and inventory checks
• Inspect all preparations and dishes ahead of serving to ensure they meet quality and presentation standards
• Keep food service stations stocked and sanitary while following proper food handling, storage, and safety protocols
• Coordinate timing and plating, manage/direct cooks during shifts, assist with inventory checks, ordering, shift briefings and some special features
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member well-being
