About The Position
A welcoming family in Menlo Park, CA 94025 is seeking a reliable, long-term, part-time cook and housekeeper to assist with dinner preparation and light household tasks two evenings a week. The schedule is 2 days per week, 2 hours per day (approximately 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM or 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM), totaling about 4 hours per week. The family is looking for a dependable individual who can take charge of meal prep and kitchen cleanup efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience with cooking and household support
- Ability to read, understand, and follow recipes in English
- Must pass a background check
- Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Meal Preparation (70%): Read English recipes and prepare wholesome dinners according to family preferences
- Kitchen Cleaning (20%): Clean up kitchen, wash dishes, and sanitize surfaces after cooking
- Household Support (10%): Assist with basic laundry duties
