About The Position

We're hiring experienced Cooks and Dishwashers for an immediate opportunity supporting a busy university dining operation. We're looking for dependable team members who are comfortable working in a high-volume kitchen environment.

Requirements

Previous professional Cook or Line Cook experience required
High-volume cooking experience strongly preferred
Strong knife skills and basic culinary knowledge
Able to follow recipes and production sheets
Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen
Dependable with strong attendance
Reliable transportation
Flexible availability, including weekends as needed
Previous dishwashing, kitchen, restaurant, catering, or food service experience preferred
Able to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen duties
Able to lift, carry, and move kitchen supplies as needed

Nice To Haves

Experience in university dining, corporate dining, hotels, catering, healthcare, or restaurants is a plus

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and production needs
Work grill, sauté, fry, oven, and other kitchen stations
Prepare food for high-volume meal periods
Follow portion, quality, and presentation standards
Maintain a clean and organized workstation
Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
Assist with prep, stocking, and kitchen cleanup as needed
Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Operate commercial dishwashing equipment
Keep the dishwashing area clean and organized
Properly sort and store clean dishes and kitchen equipment
Assist with kitchen cleanup and sanitation
Remove trash and maintain clean floors and work areas
Assist kitchen staff with additional cleaning and basic support duties as needed
