About The Position

Evergreen Knoll, a provider of assisted living and memory care services for seniors, is seeking Cooks and Dietary Aides. These are entry-level opportunities with training and support provided. The roles involve preparing and serving meals, maintaining cleanliness of kitchen and dining facilities, and adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Some positions require working every other weekend.

Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Must pass a criminal background study as determined solely by the State of Minnesota

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving meals
• Ensuring meals are prepared and served in a timely manner
• Ensuring that the dining room and kitchen facilities are organized, clean, and presentable
• Assuring appropriate food safety and sanitation techniques are utilized
• Assist with dining room set-up and clean-up
• Assist with meal preparation and distribution
• Help to maintain the kitchen and dining areas are clean and organized
• Adhering to appropriate safety, food safety, and sanitation techniques and requirements
