Sabine Retirement has an immediate opening for a Cook Helper. Here at Sabine, we pride ourselves on the culinary creations served from our kitchen. The Cook is responsible for the preparation and serving of the residents' meals using proper food handling techniques. In the absence of the Food Service Manager, the cook on duty is the person in charge of the department. As a Cooks Helper or Dishwasher in our skilled nursing facility your job is to assist in providing a consistent level of high-quality meals for our residents. You will be responsible for performing a variety of routine duties related to the preparation and serving of food; cleaning and sanitation of kitchen and dining area; washing of dishes and cooking utensils. JOB SUMMARY The Dietary Aide performs a variety of tasks including maintenance of kitchen sanitation, food preparation and other duties as assigned. The Dietary Aide is responsible to the Food Service Manager and/or the Shift Cook.
