About The Position

Responsible for achieving all standards for food preparation, cooking and cash handling. Essential Functions Provides courteous service to all Guests and Team Members. Converses with Guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service, addresses complaints or concerns. Maintains stock in kitchen and restocks food stations as needed. Ensures proper food preparation in accordance with menu specifications. Date and label each and every item in coolers Clean and organize the reach-in cooler and freezer. Maintain and wear uniform correctly and maintain a well-groomed appearance. Effectively operates point of sale (POS) system and cash register. Ensures all functional duties associated with this job are performed according to established company and departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for answering all questions about menu items, specials, and prices. Maintains a clean and safe work area and handles all food/beverage in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.

Requirements

  • Must be able to communicate, read, write, and speak English effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment, work under pressure and meet deadlines with particular attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work in a stationary position for long periods (up to 5 hours).
  • Must be able to work and be flexible with all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must possess the ability to access all areas of the kitchen, the ability to move frequently & freely about facility.
  • Must be able to withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending, kneeling, lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 lbs. without restriction.
  • Valid Washington State food handlers card

Nice To Haves

  • Six months prior serving/customer service experience.
  • Six months cash handling experience
