About The Position

Confidence Management Solutions (CMS) is currently recruiting experienced Cook and Dietary Workers for a long-term care nursing facility in Cumming, GA. This role involves preparing and serving meals to residents, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and adhering to food safety standards. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Nice To Haves

Nursing Home, senior living, hospital, and healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepares food according to standardized recipes to provide residents with consistently accurate, tasteful, and cost-effective meals.
Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that the food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
Tastes all prepared food items for quality control.
Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintains standards of cleanliness.
Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.
Performs other job-related duties as they become required.
Prepares and/or assists in the preparation of meals, beverages, and snacks.
Delivers trays and carts to resident floors and dining rooms.
Assembles resident meal trays.
Works in the dish room and pot sink.
Sweeps and mops.
Disposes of trash and recyclables.
Follows proper cleaning techniques of all kitchen equipment and work areas.
