About The Position

Four Seasons Hotel Seattle's Goldfinch Tavern is seeking a line cook who is passionate about food and cooking, and eager to learn from and contribute to their culinary team. This role is a lead position within a dynamic culinary team, responsible for providing exceptional culinary experiences to guests of the award-winning hotel and restaurant. The position reports to the restaurant sous chef. U.S. work authorization is required.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in restaurants or catering
• Strong line skills needed
• Hard working and efficient with time
• An ability to handle multiple prep or cooking tasks simultaneously in the most efficient manner
• U.S. work authorization is required

Nice To Haves

• Culinary education preferred

Responsibilities

• Work well with others in an intense environment
• Demonstrate an ability to train and mentor new employees
• Prep and maintain a hot line station in our busy restaurant
• Communicate professionally and courteously to FOH and peers
• Ability to learn new styles and techniques in a fast-paced environment
