About The Position

Responsible for production of all baked goods, desserts, and confections in accordance with property specifications and standards. Promotes an atmosphere of fun for all casino guests and encourages mutual respect, dignity and integrity with all employees by setting positive examples at all times.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail skills required.
• This position requires a Level 4 Gaming License.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic math skills: addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• One to two years baking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, portions and garnishes all baked goods, desserts, and confections.
• Adheres to all specs in all recipes and food apportionment.
• Maintains excellent kitchen hygiene conditions at all times.
• Maintains current knowledge of all state health department regulations and ensures all conditions and standards are met.
