About The Position

The Cook 1 is responsible for preparing and storing food items according to established recipes, quality standards, and food safety requirements. Reporting to the Executive Chef, this position helps ensure efficient kitchen operations and consistent food quality.

Requirements

• Must be able to learn all menu items produced by assigned station.
• Must be able to refrigerate and serve cold food.
• Must be able to produce orders.

Responsibilities

• Control quality and consistency of all food served.
• Ensure station is set for service 15 minutes prior to service.
• Ensure all food supplies necessary for service are in appropriate supply on a timely basis.
• Assist in controlling food cost.
• Required to learn all menu items produced by assigned station.
• Refrigeration and serving of cold food.
• Production of orders.
• Understand and execute all Moments of Service training standards.
• Understand and execute all Power of One standards.
