About The Position

Four Seasons Nashville is seeking a Cook 1 to join their talented Culinary team. In this role, you will support the preparation and execution of high-quality food offerings while maintaining the exceptional standards of service, quality, and hospitality that define the Four Seasons experience.

Requirements

• Culinary degree or formal culinary training preferred.
• 3-5 years of culinary or related professional kitchen experience.
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of cooking techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain consistency and quality in food preparation across all meal periods.
• Complete daily mise en place and ensure stations are fully stocked and organized for service.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, following departmental procedures.
• Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper storage practices in accordance with food safety standards.
• Assist with inventory control, minimizing waste and supporting food cost objectives.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and food preparation areas.
• Collaborate with chefs and team members to deliver exceptional dining experiences for guests.
• Follow all health, sanitation, and safety regulations.
• Support other culinary functions and special projects as assigned.
