About The Position

AACI Group, Inc. is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and expand its Loss Prevention Solutions (LPS) portfolio. This general manager role involves P&L responsibility and the autonomy to build, acquire, or partner to grow a suite of existing and developing loss prevention products. These products include FireFoil (wildfire structure wrap), Wildfire Action Plan (AI-powered preparedness app), Defensible Space Score (defensibility rating tool), and WiserBuild (building plan assessment). The COO will be responsible for accelerating the growth of these products, developing new additions, and contributing to the company's mission of making insurance more accessible and affordable in catastrophe-prone regions.

Requirements

• Experience running something, launching something, or being close enough to the action to know what it takes
• Experience with search funds and/or founder energy
• Comfort with ambiguity
• Intellectual curiosity about the wildfire, climate, or insurance space
• Experience managing interns or early-career talent and getting real output from them
• Willing to pursue the NFPA CWMS certification within the first 90 days
• Professionally exhibit intensity, intuition, initiative and imagination

Responsibilities

• Set vision and strategy for each LPS product
• Prioritize roadmaps and UX improvements
• Drive engagement and revenue across the portfolio
• Engage with other AACI subsidiaries to cross-sell and co-market
• Recruit and manage MBA and undergraduate interns to own growth and/or UX for each brand
• Operate a venture-studio-style model
• Act as hiring manager and mentor for intern-level product leads across LPS brands
• Develop new LPS concepts from scratch and/or identify acquisition opportunities and execute on acquiring them
• Evaluate and integrate that fit the AACI loss prevention thesis
