About The Position

The Conveyor Technician I position is responsible for ensuring that all facets of building maintenance are taken care of by performing preventative and corrective maintenance on all facets of the (MHE) Material Handling Equipment system and Facilities Building Maintenance. The Conveyor Technician II position is located in Olive Branch, MS. You'll be excited about this opportunity because you will.... (24 hour by 7 days a week operation, including holidays) Be able to drive (PID) Powered Industrial Trucks inclusive of people movers and forklifts. Be required to take WSI certification and pass Assess and resolve a wide array of maintenance issues on-site Material Handling systems Robotics systems Personalization equipment and systems Electrical knowledge including controls Lighting both interior and exterior Maintain all rack and guard railing Plumbing Welding Carpentry Pneumatic systems Perform preventative maintenance task using tools and equipment Assist other Maintenance Technicians repairing and maintaining facilities and systems Perform battery changes, and preventive maintenance on batteries Understand of how equipment, machines, and systems work and the ways to keep them running efficiently Have a keen eye and attention to detail to identify small issues within the large system Have the skills to be organized and prioritize the tasks in alignment with company goals Perform other duties as assigned Note: This job description reflects essential functions, it does not prescribe or restrict the number or types of tasks that may be assigned or reassigned during the conduct of business

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent
At least 5 years of experience working in maintenance supporting Material Handling Systems and or Facilities Building Maintenance or related trade/technical school equivalency
This is an onsite and in office role
Flexibility with work hours and days. (24 hour by 7 days a week operation, including holidays)
Ability to drive (PIT) Powered Industrial Trucks inclusive of people movers and forklifts
Will be required to take WSI certification and pass
Ability to work at heights and unusual positions
Able to safely operate all hand tools
Able to lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis
Able to operate powered industrial equipment including forklifts, pallet-jacks, and handcarts
Must be able to tolerate an environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise, dust and work around moving equipment – often while working in uncomfortable positions
Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, feet (foot pedals) manual (picking, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation)
Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours and wet or uneven surfaces occasionally exposed to work that requires repetitive motion.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
Comfortable with walking/standing 100% of the day

Responsibilities
