About The Position

Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on conveyors, balers, and powered industrial equipment. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 3:30 p.m. to midnight, with 40 anticipated weekly hours. The role may require schedule flexibility, overtime, and shift rotation.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as an electrician or mechanic.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule or overtime as required, including shift rotation.
• Ability to work safely with and around 24-volt, 110-volt, and 480-volt electrical systems.
• Ability to work safely with and around operating mechanical systems.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret technical reference manuals and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex electrical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical systems.
• Ability to be trained in Lock-out Tag-out procedures as an Authorized user.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular daily, weekly, and monthly system inspections and checks.
• Perform smaller adjustments and service tasks, including lubrication.
• Complete unplanned electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues.
• Control and adjust light sensors and switches.
• Exchange and set up mechanical wear parts for rolling stock and dock equipment.
• Exchange and set up electrical wear parts for rolling stock and dock equipment.
• Perform various field-related tasks as directed by Management.
