Requirements

HS/GED required
3+ years' experience operating a machine or in a related filed is required

Nice To Haves

AS preferred
Prior experience operating converting machines is preferred
Prior Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate a Converting Bag Machine with technical expertise
Lead and coach a team of converting operators to meet production goals, coordinating or assisting with activities of team members as necessary.
Monitors processes to address issues, minimize downtime, and maximize efficiency, seeks out opportunities to improve established manufacturing practices, and anticipates, and anticipates inefficiencies, bringing constructive solutions.
Enforces quality control measures to meet specifications and customer requirements.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement solutions, collaborating with maintenance teams and any other applicable departments.
Trains and provides mentorship to employees.
Support an environment that aligns with ProAmpac's core values and safety protocols
Communicates production status and performance trends to management.
