About The Position

The employee has the authority to assist operators in the setting up of machines. The (laminate assigned) utility worker has the authority to set up laminate material, change rolls and make knife adjustments. The (slitter assigned) utility worker has the authority to set up blades for product slitting requirements.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• Legal eligibility to work in the US
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Basic math skills and some mechanical abilities
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

Nice To Haves

• 1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean, inspect, and stack the product according to standard or customer requirements. Examples include, but are not limited to, cleaning the work area, checking product dimensions, checking die cut quality, cleaning die cut holes, etc.
• Package materials according to Inteplast Standards of packaging.
• Hand trim laminate.
• Weld boxes.
• Sort material as needed.
• Install and uninstall dies on die cutter workstations.
