About The Position

PMG is seeking a Senior Video Lead to advance its One Video strategy, enhance alignment across teams, strengthen marketplace relationships, and ensure a unified strategic voice in the evolving video ecosystem. This role is crucial for shaping how PMG strategically plans, invests, negotiates, and activates across the video landscape, ensuring a holistic approach rather than isolated channel decisions. The Senior Video Lead will work closely with Investment Leaders, Strategy, Analytics, and Client Leadership teams.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in local video, audio, media investment, planning, buying, or campaign operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Deep hands-on experience managing local TV, radio/audio, or convergent video/audio campaigns across multiple markets.
  • Strong understanding of local audience dynamics, inventory types, pricing, partner relationships, sponsorship opportunities, market differences, and execution tradeoffs.
  • Current experience with Mediaocean local buying workflows.
  • Familiarity with Prisma enhancements, Nielsen or other local audience/viewership tools, and standard reporting or post-buy processes.
  • Proven ability to manage campaign execution details, including placements, pacing, makegoods, posting, billing, discrepancies, reconciliations, reporting, and cost analysis.
  • Strong negotiation and marketplace judgment, with the ability to evaluate local media opportunities, secure value, and maintain productive partner relationships.
  • Comfort turning data, delivery signals, and marketplace intelligence into clear recommendations for optimization and future planning.
  • Experience improving workflows, documenting best practices, training others, and helping teams adopt tools or process changes with consistency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead local video and audio planning, investment stewardship, and execution across local linear TV, local radio/audio, sponsorships, live sports, and emerging local media opportunities.
  • Manage multi-market campaigns from approved plans through placement, monitoring, final buy review, posting, billing reconciliation, discrepancy resolution, reporting, and cost analysis.
  • Develop market-level investment recommendations considering audience needs, local inventory, pricing, timing, marketplace dynamics, reach, efficiency, and expected business outcomes.
  • Coordinate with account, strategy, analytics, operations, and local-market teams to ensure clear timelines, deliverables, workflow expectations, and communication.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with local media partners for strong execution, market intelligence, pricing efficiency, inventory access, and value-added opportunities.
  • Support local sports and sponsorship initiatives, including planning, negotiation, trafficking coordination, delivery tracking, makegoods, discrepancy resolution, and post-buy evaluation.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Mediaocean local buying workflows and related Prisma enhancements, assisting with adoption and issue resolution.
  • Provide guidance, training, and best-practice support to team members on local buying systems, workflow standards, QA routines, and campaign execution expectations.
  • Utilize delivery, posting, pacing, marketplace, and performance signals to identify optimization opportunities, surface risks, and recommend clear next steps.
  • Contribute to forecasting, budget tracking, reporting requests, and operational planning for local video and audio campaigns.
  • Identify emerging local media trends, partner opportunities, sports/sponsorship packages, and workflow improvements to enhance planning and execution.
