About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various machining tools and equipment, with a strong focus on precision and quality. The Machinist will be responsible for fabricating parts, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring that all components meet the specified tolerances and quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in machining, with a strong understanding of fabrication processes.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Ability to read blueprints accurately and follow detailed instructions.
• Competence in using various power tools safely and effectively.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with GD&T principles is preferred.
• Experience with Fanuc controls is a plus.
• Strong skills in welding techniques are advantageous.
• Proficient in CAD software for designing parts or making modifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines and manual lathes, mills, and other machining equipment to fabricate parts according to specifications.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy in dimensions and tolerances.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
• Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles in the manufacturing process.
• Assemble components as required, ensuring proper fit and function.
• Perform welding tasks as necessary to complete assemblies or repairs.
• Use CAD software to design parts or modify existing designs for improved functionality or manufacturability.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols when using power tools and machinery.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and perform basic maintenance on equipment as needed.
