About The Position

Charleston County Environmental Management is looking for a highly motivated, safety-minded individual who likes working outdoors, assisting members of the general public, providing outstanding customer service and performing a variety of tasks at our convenience centers. This employee’s primary site will be at HHH Bees Ferry Convenience Center.

Requirements

• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license for South Carolina with safe driving record
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to thirty-five (35) pounds.
• One (1) year of experience in dealing with the public/ Customer Service
• Ability to present a positive attitude when dealing with the residents of Charleston County
• This position requires the employee to reach and push with hands and arms; stand; use hands to handle, feel, grasp or operate objects, tools or controls; sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; use mental acuity and repetitive motion; and walk, talk and hear.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the timely opening and closing of assigned convenience center
• Maintaining convenience center and surrounding areas are clean and free of debris.
